Tell us more about you..

My name is Petra, I’m a self-taught AI artist living in Bali, Indonesia. I had interest in art from early childhood following footsteps of my father, an artist and designer. Studied at art school as a child and later got a bachelor degree at State University of Culture and Arts as culturologist. I always had interest in art, but though that I was not able to create anything, rather than to estimate and fascinate other’s work. But I was wrong! My husband is a very talented artist, he introduced me AI and NFT world and this world became mine too. For me AI is Pandora’s box, it surprises all the time and helps me to embody any of my ideas and all I’ve could ever dream about. Living on an Island of Gods, I find endless inspiration in every casual moment: from nature, people and of course, love.

How do you describe your NFT Art?

With help of AI, I explore and translate emotions, mood and circumstances. I would describe my art as attempts to avoid conventional vision in favour to broadcast rare states captured by observing sight. AI gives endless possibilities and inspiration, so I experiment with it a lot and not focusing on something particular, but I hope that my significant traits can still be seen through all pieces that I’ve been created.

Why did you choose this piece to show us?

I really wanted to show you one of my favourite piece created specially for ARTIST X AI // 000002 by SuperchiefGalleryNFT. This piece will be premiering at @SCOPEArtShow during #MiamiArtBasel and also presented on a screen that is 60ft wide and 16ft tall on dec, 1-4, 2022. «safe and sound» is an artwork combining realism and artistry, as if it were painted oil on canvas. Something that so many of us spend the majority of time with: sheets and cables, tangible and virtual, absorbed emotions and loneliness when only particular melody makes you feel like you belong.

Can you leave a message to collectors and other artists that are willing to connect with you?

I love our community for such open and friendly space, and I try to stay open too! I love creating connections and finding new internet friends from all the globe, I’m always ready to help to some newbies, and chat with collectors if they have something to say to me! So for anyone to whom it make concern - feel free to contact me.
