#21 - Rosa Morena

Tell us more about yourself.

My name is Rosa Morena, I am a self-taught artist. When I was a little girl, I liked to draw and paint. But at a time in my youth, I distanced myself from the arts and for many years I did not draw or paint anything. I came back into contact with art a little more than ten years ago, when I started my profession as a tattoo artist. The pandemic affected this area a lot, like many others, but luckily, in this same period, I met a long time friend who was already in this world of NFTs and helped me to get in, including donating me the first tezos cryptocurrency to get me started. I can say that NFTs have brought me closer to art, even more than tattooing. In NFTs I can explore my art much more.

How would you describe your NFT art?

What I can say is that I don't follow a single style, I know that commercially it's not good, but it's no use, I can't be any other way. I like to navigate between the universe of art. I might even do a few series, but I soon move on to something totally different. What my NFT art has in common is that they are all inspired by my life experiences and my studies of magic and spirituality. I like to play with movement effects, so I have everything from cell phone photos with movement effects to hand made paintings and drawings with some movement effect. Now I have started to explore digital art.

Why did you choose this piece to show us?

I chose this piece because I consider it my masterpiece, in every way. It is a hand drawn in coloured pencil, of my son, in the year 2012. Now as NFT I put an effect of moving elements. The title "Crystal Child" refers to the belief that this new generation of children who are incarnating on planet Earth are already born more sensitive and psychic and with a higher degree of intelligence.

Can you leave a message for collectors and other artists who are willing to connect with you?

I believe that art is the expression of our feelings. Therefore, those who connect with my feelings will appreciate my art.
