Tell us more about you..
I am a self-taught NFT artist based in Dubai.Creating art as a hobby was a safe haven for me to escape the realities of life during teenage. It was not until last year that I transitioned into digital art and that was the best decision of my life as it opened tremendous opportunities for me in web3. I am now working on my NFT project, a full-time content creator in the NFT space making content about nfts/web3 on tiktok, co-hosting spaces on Twitter with a metaverse, and collaborating with various NFT projects.
How do you describe your NFT Art?
My NFT art has a great cause behind it. I am aiming at raising awareness regarding the under threat species that are being adversely affected by brutal human activities namely poaching, deforestation, and killing animals for creating luxurious products. In my first collection, my focus of attention is on "Black Jaguar" and there will be a series of collections based on other endangered species. Bringing up this topic in web3 would definitely make a difference and help forward the message further.
Why did you choose this piece to show us?
Since my collection is about spreading awareness on the issue of under threat species, I tried to showcase some of the inhumane activities that are adding to the extinction of those animals. The use of tranquillisers in my art depicts that hunters and poachers use them to sedate the animals for easily removing their body parts to sell them at black market. The background can be seen with the tags of other illegal activities surrounding the main issue.
Can you leave a message to collectors and other artists that are willing to connect with you?
I am looking forward to connecting with like-minded people who share the same cause as me and would help forward this message and spread it across web3. It is a critical issue closer to my heart given the fact that i am an animal lover. It bleeds my heart to learn about the harsh realities of our society that includes inhumane activities, which are accelerating the extinction of those animals that are the important part of our ecosystem.
